| Ducking and Diving |
There you have it - the people in my community! We are all the same really - we are all "ducks" (people), but we are from different families (colours) all mixed up and trying to live together in spite of our differences.
There is much ducking and diving trying to learn to accept each others culture and way of life and the mix of cultures can bring such special times of shared music, foods and traditions. Colourful dress from other lands and respect of religion and worship all have us jockeying for position in the big pond of life.
Please note these ducks all have the ring at the top so that they can be drawn back to country, town or community by the pull of family, employment and tradition.
We all live in the pond and all need to be respectful of the other ducks so that we can live in peace.
Celebrate life in your local pond and learn so much.
